Soft masculinity

Inspired by the French saying “cœur d’artichaut”—a heart like an artichoke—this photoshoot unfolds in three layers, each one peeling back a facet of masculinity.

We begin at the surface: a guarded shell, composed and contained, where light only begins to break through. As the series progresses, clarity gives way to blur—a visual representation of emotional unraveling and vulnerability.

Finally, we arrive at the core: raw, tender, and exposed. This journey seeks to challenge dominant narratives around masculinity, offering instead a portrait of strength through softness, and power in sensitivity.
