Set in a dreamscape between myth and self, this editorial draws inspiration from Indonesian mythology and spirit animals — Garuda, Barong, and the Komodo dragon — as symbols of strength, resilience, and inner power. This visual journey moves through the subconscious, where these spirit animals become guides in a search for inner power. Their essence is not observed, but absorbed, awakening something raw and ancestral within.
Through hyper-real visuals with surreal distortions, the story explores the subconscious as a space of transformation. Through fashion, the protagonist absorbs the essence of these mythical creatures, embodying their energy in bold, textured silhouettes. Rather than offering escape, the dream becomes a call to rise, a visual journey of self-discovery, awakening, and the urgency of resilience when all else falters.
